Saham Al-Husseini

Director, Undergraduate and Scholarship Programs  

Saham Al-Husseini joined KAUST as a founding member in 2009 and currently serves as the Director of Undergraduate & Scholarship Programs. Responsible for a dynamic portfolio of youth talent development initiatives, he supports the office of Strategic National Advancement’s mission to advance the university’s national impact in line with Saudi Arabia’s transformation priorities. Programs under his leadership include the SRSI, Olympiad Training and Development, the KAUST Gifted Student Program, and multiple collaborative initiatives with national organizations and industry partners. Al-Husseini’s current role follows other significant leadership positions across both academic and non-academic administration, including the Registrar’s Office, Admissions and Enrollment, Strategic Relations, Operational Management, and Finance. He earned a BS degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Jordan and an MSc in Internet Software Systems from the University of Birmingham.
