Young Talent Development Programs
SRSI aims to inspire the next generation of Saudis to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to benefit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the future. This goal is accomplished by introducing talented young students to the transformative potential of these fields through intensive hands-on research and insight from distinguished practitioners at KAUST and around the world.
KAUST Science Competitions Training and Development brings Saudi Arabia's best students - from grades 6 to 12 - to KAUST's campus for intensive training for international science competitions and targeted development activities. These students trained at KAUST, are putting Saudi Arabia on the map for their superb performance in the International Science Olympiads (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Informatics).
Misk Foundation, established by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, is a non-profit foundation devoted to cultivate and encourage learning and leadership in youth for a better future in Saudi Arabia. (a collaboration between KAUST and Misk)
KGSP is a fully-funded scholarship program for top Saudi students pursuing their undergraduate degrees in science and engineering abroad. Each year, KAUST awards this competitive scholarship to approximately 135 Saudi students upon completion of high school, for up to six years. KGSP students join an elite group of Saudi peers at top-tier universities in the United States and enjoy unique and comprehensive enrichment and development opportunities throughout their studies.
